The guided tour starts from Piazza Duomo, the first stop is the Cathedral, rebuilt after the earthquake of 1693, as a good part of historic buildings and several churches, inside are preserved the Sacred Relics of Agata, Santa Patrona of the city, in the sacristy a painting eruption of 1669, extraordinary iconographic testimony of one of the most important eruptions of Etna. The tour continues with the visit of the Ursino castle, via Crociferi, a significant example of Sicilian baroque, to arrive in Piazza Stesicoro where there are the remains of the Roman Amphitheater, passage from Villa Bellini, not only to remember the Swan Catanese, but to admire one of the most beautiful gardens in Sicily. Returning from Via Etnea, stop at Piazza Università, one of the oldest Italian universities, then before concluding at Villa Pacini (known to the Catania as Villa Varagghi-of the yawns), stop in Peschieria, a typical market in Catania, to admire the unique Fontana dell 'Amenano (known as Acqua or linzolu-sheet).
